Comments Thread For: Fury's Promoter Confident of Klitschko Fight in 2015

Tyson Fury has Wladimir Klitschko in his sights after his victory over Dereck Chisora.

The British heavyweight beat Chisora in London at the weekend and his promoter, Mick Hennessy, immediately indicated that Fury may challenge the Ukrainian, who holds the WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO titles.

Fury dominated Chisora, who failed to come out for the 11th round, in their eliminator. The 26-year-old is now undefeated after 23 professional fights and the mandatory challenger for the WBO belt and the European and British champion.

This would be a lucrative fight for both men.

Fury could probably make $10 mill in PPV revenue.

I'd rather see Wilder starch him before Vladimir does. At least with Wilder the unknowns could make it interesting. Against Vlad, he just gets schooled and cooled.

Hennessy doesn't want it, yet. He'll likely price Tyson out of the fight or make unreasonable demands - i.e. Wlad must fight in the UK.

Looks possible for late 2015. Hopefully Fury won't get the flu beofre that fight. or it will be very lopsided

Wlad's manager has said it would either be in UK or Germany. Obviously, the UK is what Hennessy and Fury would prefer, but I'm sure they would go to Germany if they had too.
The only place Fury probably wouldn't go to for Wlad is the USA, because his uncle Peter might not get a visa, and Tyson needs Uncle Pete in his corner for Wlad, no doubt about that.

It doesn't matter where the fight is 'cause Fury ain't lasting the distance... not even half of it.
