I feel that the best of boxing is behind us. For the first time I didn't care for pacs ppv. I'm just tired of watching over matched opponents fight get beat down against so called best of the sport. Maybe tonight's fight will change my feeling. Anyone else feel the same?

Anyways, fans need to stop supporting these match ups if they think they are crap. With current stream quality there's no need to buy PPV or subscribe to HBO/SHO for boxing unless you are satisfied with what they're giving you

Pacquiao went from being the most excited fighter in the sport to pretty meh, a lot of his fights post Margarito have been boring.
You can blame the cramps or the running opponents but the truth is his fights aren't what they used to be.
Can't put all your eggs in one basket if you want to be entertained watching this sport. Time to expand your horizons or taper off.

May-Pac
Kovalev-Stevenson
Andre Ward doesn't even fight
Golovkin vs other belt holders
Light Middleweight top spot held hostage by Floyd
IBF WW title = I'm the best here not named Manny or Floyd but they probably wont fight me
Danny Garcia's been on the downside lately
Featherweight needs unification + RiGODdeaux is sitting just below them
Below Featherweight we don't really get any coverage on those fighters at all. Roman Gonzalez is a ***el down there, love the way he creates leverage on his punches.
Also the Welterweights aren't fighting each other because there's two P4P kings who haven't fought... they can't ruin their chances of hitting the lottery by fighting each other before that.

Boxing is not for everyone, although nothing in boxing is new at all and the sport looks exactly the same.
Being a real fan of boxing involves sifting through a lot of bull**** to find those pure moments of joy, sometimes the scales shift a bit and there is more joy or bull**** at any one time but it all balances out in the end. It is also a lot of work to really keep up on the sport and understand what is going on with all the moving parts that are in a constant state of flux.
It really is not for everyone, and here only makes it worse because boxing fans are inherently jerks.
