A few months ago, Floyd Mayweather Sr. found himself in some hot water. The trainer did an interview that became viral on the internet. The trainer told a newspaper that he confidently believed a fight would happen between his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao.

Following that interviews, Mayweather Jr. did his own interview and issued a public threat. Mayweather Jr. made it clear that if his father continued to discuss his business in the press - he would be swiftly replaced with a new trainer.

He was threatened because his son doesn't want to fight manny or give the impression that anyone on their side wants to fight manny because that will open the flood gates to people asking Floyd why he's won't do it.

maybe he just dont want it to fall thru knowing this might be his last chance to fight manny one things for sure unless your a fan boy both fighters are to blame equally one was scared of needles one was trying to be greedy i still dont buy that either is scared tho. I have made it a point in any discussion about this fight that I believe both camps are to blame but it made sense that they both fought other people made a ton of money and saved the best for last. If they had fought one another 4 years ago that could have been the end for both of them in terms of big purses and fights.
