Comments Thread For: Juan Manuel Marquez Suffers Minor Knee Injury in Camp

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs), 41-years-old, returned to training at the Romanza Gym in Mexico and he already suffered a setback with a minor knee injury.

Marquez has been inactive since winning a twelve round unanimous decision over Mike Alvarado on May 17th in California.

The Mexican veteran has rejected several proposed fight, because he wants to go for a fifth divisional title. At the moment he doesn't know if he intends to fight any longer. He plans to make a decision regarding his future in February. Marquez says the problem with the knee is not serious and it actually first started bothering him even prior to the fight with Alvarado. I ****ing knew it. This ****ing coward. He was being asked constantly about his next move and he said, I will soon tell you all. I suspected he was waiting to see if Algieri somehow got past Pac, and then he would love a shot at that 5th title. However, Pacquiao wins, and now the excuse is set for retirement lol.

Little sissy coward. The once great Juan Manuel Marquez, the legendary Mexican champion became a straight up ***** feeling-driven diva. Disgusting.

He knows Mayweather won't fight him so he is the next logical choice.

Pac's daddy wants to keep going but his body might be telling him that it's over. This could be the end of a legendary career.
