Not so. One had wondered whether Pacquiao could catch a runner. This would have been Floyd's only chance to hide. Not even Floyd has faster legs than Algieri, and he couldn't outrun Pacquiao. Floyd's only option to negate all that pressure is to come in as a MW and HOLD for his life!

CBS/Showtime has made it clear to Floyd that he either fights Pacquiao or he loses the May 5th weekend date to Canelo/Cotto.

Algieri hits harder than Floyd and Pacquiao walked right thru him. There was a right hand that Algieri landed flush and Pac's head didn't even move an inch. And Floyd wear pillows and has hand issues.

The only way this fight ends is a Pacquiao victory unless the gets robbed which is a very real possibility cuz Al Haymon has a history of fixing fights especially when it comes to Floyd

I think your underestimating floyds power a lil...no, he's not a one punch knockout artist, but he definitely has enough power to get any opponents respect. If he was able to get respect from canelo who's naturally about 20 lbs heavier than manny, best believe Manny won't be going in there walking through floyds punches. I love pac...but he's very susceptible to being hit with the counter right hand...Jmm, bradley, and algieri all him with that punch repeatedly, and I think it's safe to say that Floyd will do the same. If he catches Manny coming in the same way, when he got knocked out by jmm..then it could be lights out for pac. With all that said, to me this is a 50/50 fight. Both have their advantages and I can't wait till it finally happens..which I think it will this may.

He will run and try to pot shot all night question is will it be enough to just do that when manny is throwing from all angles. Algieri tried that and manny caught him.
