I think the fight will happen. It seems they'll do a co-production with HBO & Showtime as parent companies Time Warner & CBS Corporation work closely together on a lot of projects. I don't think Mayweather would be able to block it either or I'm assuming that CBS can void the contract. They probably just want to do Mayweather vs. Pacquiao I & II for May & September and after that Mayweather will be a free-agent once again to pursue whatever fight opportunities he would like.

Floyd made excuse after excuse? He made a good faith effort in trying to make the fight, while Arum/Pac or both did not. They made excuse after excuse about drug testing. Every excuse turned out to be a complete lie. What about THOSE excuses? That killed the whole fight at the very best time it could've been made.

Pac agreed to 14 days testing the first negotiation...every scientist in the world can confirm no one can gain anything by taking 14 days before a fight.. it takes a while for PEDs...

WRONG! Pac DID NOT agree to 14 days, otherwise it would've been made. Floyd wanted no cutoff and compromised to 14 days, which Pac wouldn't accept. Pac and his team first started out saying they would test "anytime", the kept changing it until they got to 30 days b4 the fight. They finally settled at 24 days because they got caught lying about when they could take tests and video of him testing earlier for the Hatton fight showed up. They wouldn't move from 24 days. Wonder what THEIR answer would've been if Rios wanted a 24 days cutoff or Marquez in a 5th fight? I think u know!

Another lie. Floyd has NEVER walked away from a negotiation with Pac. There were only 2 and Floyd's team initiated both. Meanwhile Arum was doing everything NOT to make the fight, including refusing to offer the fight to Pac.

This is exactly why Floyd left HBO for showtime. Everyone wanted him to fight manny HBO was pushing and pushing for it to happen so what does Floyd do he goes to showtime signs that big deal thinking that he has complete control over everything and he can pick who he wants to fight and showtime has no choice but to pay him. For showtime at the time of the signing it was the best thing to ever happen to them because it made them relevant to the boxing masses and they finally could compete with HBO but now they realize **** we are not getting what they paid for.

All you Floyd fans keep it real the only reason why mayweather gets PPV numbers is because he fights Hispanic fighters on the biggest Mexican holidays if he was to fight any other time he would be lucky to break 500k. His biggest pay per view numbers came against two of the biggest Mexican stars in Oscar and Canelo yet Floyd takes full credit for being the "A side" give me a freaking break. You're right about the 24-14 day thing...wow that's so long ago I forgot...but again...can you prove Mayweather would have accepted the fight and not come up with another condition? No you can't.

Former-HBO pres admitted that he was in talks when Mayweather's camp lied and said no talks were going on... don't tell me that didn't happen...
