Comments Thread For: Saunders Vows: I'm Going To Knock Eubank Jr. Cold!

Bitter middleweight rivals Chris Eubank Jr and Billy Joe Saunders will be out to steal the show on Saturday night, live and exclusive on BoxNation.

Taking place at a 20,000 sold-out at ExCel London the pair have not minced their words in the run up to this year’s biggest and best British card, headlined by Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury’s world title eliminator.

But despite the heavyweight hitmen topping the bill, it is Eubank Jr’s and Saunders’ clash which could prove the fight of the night on a card stacked from top to bottom.

Eubank Jnr looks fast and sharp on those pads

But pads are one thing, getting in the ring with a experienced boxer is another thing

This fight is a gamble for Eubank Jnr, u cud argue it's comes way to early in his career, he maybe needs another year or 2 to get up to that level.

However if he is exceptionally talented and takes BJS to the cleaners, then i will be a fan

It would have been nice for Jr to fight someone half decent before fighting BJS, then we could have an idea where he's really at. But at the moment no one really knows and Saunders is a big step up in class from who he's all ready fought, and for that reason I gotta pick BJS in this fight.

Eubank Jnr keeps running off to Mayweathers like they are his secret antidote and they give him all the confidence he needs to think he can conquer the world.
I thought Ron Davies was his trainer.?

Eubank Jr. is going to win. Eubank Jr. is impressive and can only grow. Saunders is unimpressive and basically reached his peak. Eubank Jr. by TKO.

Saunders has very little pop, I don't see him stopping anyone decent.

Really interesting fight here. Eubank Jr is still a bit of a wild card, if he's good I think he wins. I'm far from sold on Saunders.
