How do you think prime Ali would have done in todays heavyweight scene?

Liston had a longer jab than wlad but couldnt touch him. Prime ali was something else

wlad was probably faster of hand than liston imo but it probably wouldn't matter. he still wouldn't be able to land on a young ali either. that guy was lightning fast on his feet and would frustrate the hell out of wlad and this is coming from a wlad fan. I think older ali (post prison) would have had a much tougher time tho

you cant really believe this tho? that cooper hook was clean as hell and sneaky. ali shook it off and came back. the bigger slower guys today would have had much more trouble landing on ali

Ali-Wlad would probably look like a cross between his fight with Terrell and Wlad's fight with Haye, with the difference being Ali would let his hands go when Wlad misses (something Haye froze on). Ali would respect Wlad's power but Wlad's lack of countering ability would work against him. Ali would get there first most of the time and outpoint him.
