this is true. i know someone who is left handed and he learned to do other things right handed.

Some people are ambidextrous. I write with my right hand, eat with my left hand and shoot basketball with my left hand. He is probably right hand dominant but fought as a southpaw since he was a kid.

not necessarily, i'm right handed and I can arm curl more weight with my left...not by much though.

You can usually tell when a southpaw is right handed because their straight left isn't very good, like Ortiz.
