You.
To be fair, he deserves criticism for the Barrerra performance, but I was thinking about it the other day. He lost by about 3-4 rounds, and was never Knocked out in his whole career. His knock out percentage is second to none and was only ever beaten once, by a great. There really isnt much for the haters to be chanting about...

Losing with grace and honor, making no excuses.
Never giving up, never going down.
Winning the belt he lost to Barerra back before he retired.
People also forget Hamed is THE FIRST MAN IN HISTORY to beat all 4 reigning Champions in his weight class.

I like Hamed. Stylistically, he pushed the envelop and I like people who do not settle for the conventional.
I can't say however that the way he left boxing was something I can take without a grain of salt. I can understand how people may run out of that competetive drive which is at the core of any fighter's championship character. In the case of Hamed, however, I find it difficult to fathom how a fighter, after a single loss, can lose that drive.
Now that it has been reported that The Prince is coming back, I can hardly wait to see how much he still has.Comment

Hamed was a showman, a real character and one of the boxers, along with Calzaghe and Tyson that got me into boxing. Shame that he beat a favourite of mine in Steve Robinson to make his statement on the world stage
However he brought much publicity to the game in fairness. Heck Naz even had his own computer game made. He has the talent and definately the power however, seemed to have a lack of character and real heart at the end of the day. Yes, I give it to him, that Kelley fight was outrageous however I think even though he was knocked down numerous times, he didn't look a beaten man once. However the MAB lecture, shot his morale to smitherines and he never really recovered. Reminds me of Tito in that sense, another boxer I admire
Naz was what the sport in Britain needed at the time after the characters of Bruno, Eubank, et al left the scene, and though arrogant, you got to admire the lads charisma. I wouldn't mind Khan turning into a ****y little ****er like Naz to be honest
I kinda miss that exuberance from a British fighter

Ive always liked Hamed, cheeky character who could really pack a punch. Best featherweight of the 90's for sure.Comment

It's quite simple really.
If he gets back into fighting shape, shakes off the ring rust...he'll be alright.
I don't want to hear this trash about him having to adapt to other fighters' styles. If anything his akwardness and power..... will give some of these guys something to lay up at night thinking about.
Oh and this just in:
Power is the last thing to go....and Naz has more than he needed.

where is he? or did he just cash in on boxing and left the sport like a prowler in the night?
plus after all this time off, can he really make any kind of run now in boxing? or is he going to fight guys who are too old or guys who are too young and inexperienced again like last time?
he fought two guys that were considered on his level, Kelley and Barrera. Kelley ended up fighting Hamed's fight and got caught with a huge punch(fight was over), and Barrera beat him by boxing and not getting into his type of fight. so he's one and one with his caliber of opposition.
what weight will he comeback at? 126? 130? 135?, if any of those recent pics of him were him then he looks like he's going to be fighting at welter.......Comment
