He weighs in 10-12 pounds over 160 on fight night. He's a sizable middleweight, and 154 would hurt him.

Not only that but Gomez was stopped for no real reason, he wasn't in much trouble at all and could have potentially made something of the fight had it not been needlessly stopped.

MAYBE THROW IN FROCH AND CHAVez jr... its off subject but those are GGG'S real tests. Not floyd..
How is what I said fantasy?

1.GGG does have a good jab.

          2. Mayweather can't expect to run all night and still win.

          3. GGG will at one point in the fight will cut the ring off on Floyd.

          4. GGG is naturally bigger and stronger. Floyd reach isn't that much greater then GGG's.

          5. GGG does have a stellar amateur career.

Everything I said in my post is fact and (or) common sense. What is fantasy is to think Floyd can avoid being hit clean for 12 straight rounds against a world class fighter and still win a decision.

But I do respect you're opinion and I suppose we would just have to agree to disagree.

GGG by KO and it proves what? IDK. Definitely not that GGG is a better fighter.

GGG is much bigger, stronger, more powerful, younger etc. Not the type of opponent a 37 year old fighter (however great) can be fairly expected to face.
Floyd probably thinks GGG would beat him in one round, but the reality is Floyd would probably last the distance. If BH can last the distance against Kovalev who is basically the equivalent of GGG.

But Floyd cant be a charity case with the comments regarding his age. He isn't too old to perform. But at his age you just know he is nearer the end of his career than the start. Similar to if you are 50 years old, your probably closer to death than birth, and more than half way through your life.

Fantasy, meaning this fight will never happen!!

First off, these weights are unofficial for a reason. Many fighters will keep shoes, clothes on etc. I can only guess that's how guys like Matthysse, Clottey supposedly rehydrated 25lbs overnight.

Also, lots of SWWs come in 170+ fight night: Canelo, Trout, Angulo etc. Of course GGG would not perform as well at 154, but probably wouldn't be a shell like Dawson, DLH, Byrd. Again, 165 30 days, 161 5 days before the bout is very low

Not listening to Abel who said it many times, but Gennady himself told that he can make 154 without too much trouble. He weights in a little less than 160 and he's not a big MW. I can't say for sure but I think that yes - he can make 154 and still do good.

its kind of funny that GGG trains super hard for fights that floyd could win with little or no training, what does that tell you?
