Looking for a boxing match where...

This opponent gets kneed in the groin multiple times, but in succession, like he would get up, and a few seconds later bam another knee to the groin. I think he was Hispanic/Latino. And I think at one point he even gets thrown down. It looked more like a wrestling match than anything. This happened in the early 2000s... I want to say it was Fernando Vargas it happened to, but that doesn't make any sense. It must have been controversial or something because all I remember was seeing it on a sport report on the TV, and the reporters being absolutely stunned when they showed the highlights.

I was like holy hell I hope this guy got dq'ed or something. I don't know, it's been bothering me for years who it was...
