Does Pacquiao Need To Avenge Marquez Loss Before Being Eligible For Floyd Fight?

What yall think, does Pacquiao need to avenge his devestating knocked-out cold loss to Marquez before he can truly be eligible for a Mayweather fight?

People say fighters like Khan needed to avenge their losses but Khan was never knocked out cold like that, he was back on his feet getting ready to fight.

I don't know where I stand on this one, Pacquiao is obviously a legend in his own right so different rules could apply to him. Tough one to call really.

ordinarily i would say yes, but Marquez has priced himself out of the fifth fight. So nothing Pacquiao can do.

Pacquiao is officially 2-1-1 against Marquez and no one including Marquez wants to see another fight.

No, because he beat him 3 times already, he shouldn't have given JMM so many chances to beat him.

But many people get to fight Floyd without proving they can beat JMM. Maidana would probably lose to JMM as would Ortiz, Guerrero.

So it would be just another excuse to avoid Pac. JMM can beat Pac, don't mean Floyd can, Floyd cant get credit for JMMs win. Floyd showed he can beat a bloated JMM while coming in over the limit, so what? Doesn't mean he doesn't have to fight Pac. If he avoids the Pac fight, its got nothing to do with Pac losing to JMM.

I always wonder, people tell Khan to avenge Presscot loss but no one ever told Manny to avenge Rustico Torrecampo or Medgoen Singsurat KO losses.

at this point manny would be giving those unknown guys a big payday.....even khan at this point as far as fighting prescott...but khan should avenge loss to garcia...."maybe" lamont....and Marquez is not fighting Manny unless he gets more money

does he fcuk. did maidana have to avenge his losses to khan, alexander and kotelnik? no. did cotto have to avenge his TKO loss to pacman. no. its just floyd mayweather coming up with excuse after excuse because he clearly doesnt have that much confidence in himself beating pacman.

Dude khans loss to Garcia is much worse then manny's to marquez.manny got hit with a punch in a fight he had just taken control of after a knockdown each. Khan on the other hand practically got dominated and knocked down numerous times.

But to answer your question, no he doesn't, he's already beaten marquez 3 times ( draw should have been a win) and 5th fight would be a mismatch at this stage and besides Jmm doesn't want the fight

Pacquiao doesn't need to avenge his loss to roidquez. Roidquez can have a farewell fight in Mexico and retire
