They are saying very similar things to you. The only difference is "when" Stevenson was exposed, either way he has a bad chin and questionable stamina---When it was apparent doesn't really matter. He also seemed to get things together after the Boone fight for a short while against soft opposition.

Stevenson ain't ****. He beat the Corpse of Chad Dawson. Chad was coming off the Ward fight where he was forced to verbally submit. Two fights after the Stevenson loss, he lost a competitive decision to Tommy Karpency. Chad is done. I realize the lineal title will continue to give Stevenson some shred of relevancy, but I don't understand why he is talked about as much as he is on these forums. He is a limited fighter buoyed by his punching power who has almost entirely faced sub-par opposition. You guys just get infatuated with these punchers.

yea,,I dont get why so many think hes as good as kovalev. I dont see anything impressive with him besides power. kovalev is much better rounded. granted,,,stvenson could catch him on the chin but I think its slim hed be even competitive with kovalev
