the pianetta fight was ridiculous but at least he had an undefeated record and wasn't old and shot to bits like briggs. I think wlad liked the kid and wanted to give him a payday when there weren't many good options available at the time.wach is limited but he is a big strong guy and had an undefeated record as well and a good ranking. I personally dont think wach is all that bad. the bottom line is briggs is coming off a crushing loss in his last big fight to wlads brother and hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse since

I think wlad just wanted to give the likeable kid that beat cancer a good payday. not that it makes it right but at least he was young,,,unbeaten and not coming off a horrific beating like briggs. I just think its wrong for briggs to get a shot purely from getting attention for acting like a classless idiot when hes coming off such a horrific beating in his last big fight. hes already had his shots in the past. its not good for boxing

Just because Klitschko has fought some iffy opponents, it still doesn't make Briggs relevant or a worthy opponent.
It's kinda of hypocritical to criticize a man for fighting some questionable opposition by insisting he somehow redeem himself by fighting another questionable opponent.

come on laced. wlad was forced to fight TT and leapai as they were mandatories. mormeck,,,wach and pianetta were all bad fights but they did have some half descent wins and weren't coming off devastating losses like briggs. plus wlad didn't have as good options back then on opponents. everyone had fights lined up at the time. it was be a travesty for a guy like briggs who's already had his chances to get a fight when there's descent fighters out there more deserving like Jennings,,,fury,,,chisora and wilder

plus briggs has already had his shots in the past. it wouldn't be right for him to get a free pass when there's much younger guys out there that haven't had there chance yet. there;s much better options for wlad now than in the past when he faced questionable opposition

do you really believe this? wlad had a tough fight with pulev ( on paper) in mere weeks. why the hell would he break his concentration to stage crap with a shot briggs. he looked genuinely pissed off as hell in the latest incident. I really don't think he could be that good of an actor. now if the fight gets signed I'll eat my words but I jusyt don't see it happening
