The fight isn't happening if this type of stuff is getting out there. MGM Grand seats about 18,000 people. The temporary stadium (embarrassing) can hold 30,000 and Jerry can host 100,000. In a few weeks it'll just be another reason why the fight wasn't made.Last edited by Beater_of_ass; 11-25-2014, 06:01 PM.Comment

I think 1K will be the 2nd to cheap seats (maybe $500-750 as cheapest). Main floor will be around 10-15K easyThe fight isn't happening if this type of stuff is gettingg out there. MGM Grand seats about 18,000 people. I doubt those seats are going to go for more than $1,000 a piece, that's 2 grand and you're not even counting any other expenses. So we're talking about a pretty select crowd and it's going to cost a lot of money to build something that quickly. Plus if we're so cheap to make an entire stadium for 12,000 people, Jerry can host 100,000. In a few weeks it'll just be another reason why the fight wasn't made.Comment

As he should. The guy promoted Ali, De La Hoya, Mayweather and Pacquiao. Don King is pretty much out of the loop and Richard can handle all the endorsers and sponsor contracts.Comment

I'm sure Vegas is also going to push their closed circuit "seats" as well. When you add how many closed circuit seats that every venue in Vegas has available, the numbers are probably close to the seating capacity in Dallas.
Sure, it's just closed circuit, but in many ways, closed circuit in Vegas is better than nose bleed seats in Dallas.Comment

I just thought back to this fight. I didn't know that was all that possible either, did they say how long it took to make that stadium? From interviews I read prior to the fight I'm guessing around 2 months?Comment

You are making way too much sense bro....!You could be right. The fight hasn't happened before so why should it happen now?
However, I think an Oil Tycoon and Natural Resource Prospector like Jerry Jones might have a just a little bit more credibility on the subject than a few of the posters here and maybe he has better things to do than feign false interest in offering his stadium as the fight venue.
That being said, it is ok to take this round of talks seriously because of the caliber of Investors expressing interest in hosting the fight. Or wait... maybe Jerry Jones is just using Mayweather's name to sell some NFL tickets...Comment
