Kind of odd to have 7 televised fights in one night, even if it's on 2 different SHO channels. Couldn't they have spaced this out with a couple different cards? Could've been better if they matched Ortiz vs Thurman and given Abner a decent opponent.

Two of GB/Showtime cards went away with Hopkins/Kovalev and Canelo. Both were to be on Showtime

Looks like this card will be a fun night. I enjoy both the Charlos. Hopefully Khan-Alexander isn't a hugfest, but Mares should be knocking out Ramirez in a fun fight since Hunter won't be commanding him anymore.

Can you guys start saying their first name when talking about a Charlo. They are two identical twins in the same weight class both advancing at similar stages, so a first name is pretty necessary.

By the way, this is Jermall Charlo, the one that had the title shot against Carlos Molina before Molina was deported to Mexico for **** charges/immigration issues and the fight got cancelled.
