  • Comments Thread For: Lemieux: I'll Prove That I'm a Real Middleweight Threat!

David Lemieux (32-2, 30KOs) was once a rising star.

That was before the Canadian puncher was exposed for what he is: a one-dimensional fighter.

In 2011, Lemieux was stopped by Marco Antonio Rubio, then lost a majority decision in his next bout to Joachim Alcine.

Lemieux is gonna put a lump on his head. Why did Gabe leave trainer Billie Briscoe? Briscoe seems like an earnest dude that knows his stuff and loves Rosado. Even if he does have the creepiest, ugliest beard you will ever see.

If he can starch Rosado, he would send a huge message. Or, show he can box well late.

Sure did. He was a 22 year old green kid who was getting beat up badly until his corner saved him.

He was given the Gary Russell Jr route of opponents who all fell over for him. Then got in with a smarter fighter who waited for him to tire out. Hopefully this time, being 25 now, he has a bit more smarts about him.

HA! he went back to canada and fought the same type of bums he was fighting before. Only 3 of his fights went passed round 3, losing one by MD and ko's in 7 or 8 against bums. Unless he can really show something against rosado, impressively, he'll still be beating bums in canada and thats it.
