I remember I used to hate Carl Froch at the beginning of the super six tournament. I hated him when he kept calling out Joe. I hated him when he got the nod over my boy Direll. But somewhere between then and now he's won me over and become one of my favorite fighters. He's kind of an a---hole but he is a constant professional who represents the sport very well.

Same exact scenario with me. I couldn't stand him until the end of the Super Six. He is a tough throwback fighter and I like that he has fought nothing but stiff competition for years now. He deserves to call the shots at this stage of his career.

Carl Froch is arrogant but I've always respected him for fighting the best...and he has a smoking girlfriend so I give him credit for that too.

I was never a big fan of Carl. But I have to admit that he has kind of grown on me and if they fight I hope he knocks the snot out of Junior. And can I ask why several posters on this thread are calling him a racist?

In answer to the original question, the 'racism' claim stems from Froch and Amir Khan slagging each other off for years. Team Khan Innit say Froch being criticial of Khan is due to racism - rather than fact.
