The Froch Groves Beat, Was He Just An Illusion?

Prior to getting in the ring with Froch, Groves was given no chance, he had a couple of average performances leading up to the fight

However he caused Froch many problems in both fights.

Now he has had two average performances, similar to his performances prior to fighting Froch

Also the fact is has a ****ty trainer, one thing about Booth, he is a technician and a good planner.

So i ask, Froch beating Groves, was it such a huge achievement? Was Groves made out to be something he never was

On the flipside Degale looks like the real deal, two great performances against decent opposition back to back..Power, speed, combos, he looks very dangerous

Groves deep down knew that he was on his way to losing the first fight, he tried to convince himself otherwise but couldn't. That showed in the rematch where he didn't look confident and hasn't look confident since. I think Froch took a lot out of him, didn't Froch suggest that he take time off? Can't remember.

Groves and DeGale are nothing special tbh.

The Froch fight flattered Groves a lot.

Groves looked a lot lot stronger under Booth doe... he looked physically weaker in the second Froch fight... and has looked utterly dreadful since.

I feel Degale is a better fighter than Groves, at least now he is

Groves packs a punch, but Degale seems to have matured, i dont think Groves can beat this version

Also with Booth gone Groves kind of looks lost
