Guerrero is way more accomplished of a fighter and had success campaigning against legit contenders @ 147 lbs. Whereas, Algieri did not. Algieri would be seen as a tune-up even for guys like Maidana, Guerrero, Broner, etc. Even Malignaggi has a better case for why he should be awarded a fight with Pacquaio than did Algieri.

look at this another way, the fellah kept getting up......? which of pacmans previously kod opponents did that? so repetitively? hmmmmm....anybody?
two things, infact three things which have now become a factor in why manny doesnt rush in like he used to.
first, ktfo by the great juan manuel marquez.
2nd thing, hes older and HIS legs look more like giving way than floyds.
third thing, coming down by 3 to 4 IBS isnt something he has had to do before but, his speed has slowed and with his agility being that of an older fighter.....
its floyd then and now for me.
he may not hit very hard but i think we saw enough in this fight that shows this is not the suspected drug taker as shown against cotto, hatton etc.
also, when you consider al these other top level fighters manny has handled with considerable ease then, who the fack is algieri????
oh, and garcia is perfect??? lol garcia is just a bum.Comment

Winning one title in one division isn't even in the same stratosphere as winning 1 in 3 different divisions! How many 1 division champs are there compared to 3 division?Comment
