TR cards are usually an F, but last nights fights on the undercard weren't that bad so I voted for a D+.

Its too bad because I was hoping to separate the boys from the men. Or atleast the real fans from the trolls.

Im laughing at posters who votes either A or D. Solid night of fights but not great.

For perspective, Im not a manny fan and dont like freddie or Arum

I thought the undercard was very uninteresting matchups.. Demarco-Vargas was decent.. Zhou looked good early, lomo looked good but none of the fights were very compelling..

I gave a grade of C..

It was basically 4 12 rd decision fights that weren't very compelling

i'll give it a C+. My grade is a bit unfair because i fell asleep during the opener. Mind you, I was pretty good & drunk at that point, but I have fallen asleep during the last 3 Jessie Vargas fights. No b/s.


I woke up for the last 3 rounds of Lomachenko vs. Thai-Bum. Zou-Shiming was impressive but couldn't get his Thai-Bum out of there when he should've. Main event proved to be a mismatch and I ate crow for favoring Algieri to win/do well enough to get credit.


For me the best fight of the night was on before the PPV, with the kid from Hong Kong, Rex Tso. That was a really good scrap. Otherwise, there were just too many Thai-bums + Jessie Vargas who is my NyQuil. I even heard the DeMarco fight was good, but Jessie Vargas just always puts me out lol

vargas vs demarco - was a very entertaining back and forth fight.

lomachenko vs pirpiyano - i could watch lomachenko fight all day. the movement, angles, combination punching, etc was beautiful

zou shiming vs wongchongchaigym - decent fight, good knockdowns and zou had to dig deep after that cut from a headbutt

pac vs algieri - another masterclass performance from pac, broke apart the fleet footed taller and rangier algieri.
