No they didnt beat Berto. They beat the number 2 fighter in the division and earned a fight with Floyd. I dont see how Soto beating a shot Berto is better than Marcos beating Broner. All of Floyd's foes are the same. They earned it. Pac will get a random guy and just drag him up to the weight class and make a fight.

I feel thats bad for boxing, just fighting anyone and putting it on ppv.

You have to hope that Top Rank are just using the Alexander Strategy here. Naming a god awful opponent so a slightly less terrible opponent doesn't seem so bad.

He also went on to list Matthysse a viable opponent for Pacquiao. They can't even stay consistent within their own threads.

Anyway, people need to realise that Arum is putting sawdust in the engine of a worn down fighter. He's going to keep putting Pacquiao in the ring with fighters like Jesse Vargas because it is the only way he can convince people he is still holding on to a complete beast.

If you're in disbelief of what I'm saying, just take a look at how people view Pacquiao after beating Rios and Algieiri. He went from a fighter who needed to hang his gloves up to some fearful welterweight.

When he fights Vargas next they'll say he had no choice because Mayweather ducked him.

I have to credit Top Rank. After flat out running away from the negotiating table when the prospect of fighting Mayweather became real, they've somehow convinced the masses that they don't mean to make these unbelievably ****ty fights, Floyd won't fight them. Judging by the IQ's on here, that probably wasn't too difficult.

Try not to take it too personal. I know the truth cuts hard.

It's because people already want to believe something, Floyd is the villain. All Arum needs to do is provide them with the excuse and nothing else matters as they lack the integrity to acknowledge the glaring issues.

A recent example is some article some doofus posted yesterday about Mayweather and and Haymon being forced to take the fight. People didn't question the legitimacy of the source because it attacked Mayweather. However, when an article claimed Pacquiao was offered 40 million + 35% people approached with caution and scrutiny.
