Comments Thread For: Arum Will Go All Out To Make Mayweather-Pacquiao

The only way this fight occurs is if something happens that causes Arum to no longer be in control of Top Rank Promotions. I still don't think Arum actually wants this fight to happen. If he does actually negotiate this fight, the main sticking point will be who controls the promotion Arum will want complete control over the promotional aspect of this fight so he can keep/steal the majority of the money. That is not going to happen.
Floyd won't give him promotional control of the fight for good reason. Therefore, the fight won't happen unless something happens to Arum.Last edited by big_james10; 11-23-2014, 11:47 PM.

above reasons doesn't need some arguing. it is what would boost the floyd-pac ppv.
this 3 below need some arguing. and personally not that important to me to spend time for arguments.
1.story line sells more than the previous ppv's.
2.fans would not buy ppv of the sole reason of the fighter have a high ppv in the past
3.arum's undercard is not that good in contrast to floyd.

And already he has told his first lie. I wouldn't expect the average poster on this site to understand but these:
"The fight had more knock downs than Mayweather's fights over the last 12 years."
Are not the words of someone going all out to make the fight.
Without provocation, he is throwing more hostility into the negotiations. Someone doing all they could to make the fight happen would be trying to quell the existing hostilities, or not add to it by saying nothing.
Putting things into context. When he was looking to do business with De La Hoya, they had dinner with one another in order to bury the hatchet. They still, to my knowledge, haven't put on a card with one another.
How many times do people need to witness the same song and dance to realise the fight is not going to happen.

Now both are sat by the phone...............
Let's guess who might not respond because the phone is making a strange ringing sound instead of showing a Tweet?
