as a boxing fan, that was ****ing entertaining to watch.
as a loma fan, that was ****ing entertaining to watch.

    as a critic.....

as much as i am a fan of loma, piriyapinyo's (thai fighter)style was made to make his opponents look good.

piriyapinyo RARELY takes a step back, CANNOT fight moving backwards at all, RARELY moves his head until loma moves it for him.

however, 1000 punches and nearly 400 connected for someone who fought 5-6 rounds 1 handed, is still quite impressive.

does the the lack of KO make his performance less impressive? subjective, but personally, no.
piriyapinyo has a tough chin, loma did knock him down. wouldn't be surprised at all if he TKOed piriyapinyo had he not injured his left hand.

Featherweight better get this kid while they can. Wait too long and he'll beat all of their asses, no doubt about it.

Take it easy fella. No need to lose your ****...

He's already lost to an ageing, fat Salido who looks, and looked, all but shot. Despite the inexperience, Loma has some obvious flaws that won't go away for a while, if ever. He's not Ali, Duran or Robinson. Relax.

just watched this, Loma looked decent, maybe the injury hindered him but for all the hype, Loma is not spectacular in any one department. Salido would probably beat him again.

These muay thai turned boxers are kinda funny to watch. They keep coming forward after taking shot after shot after. I'm like wtf... these guys just want more punishment.

Lomachenko is legit. I like his style. Looking forward to seeing match up against the top contenders at feather.

So It looks like Lomachenko hurt his hand in the fourth round so he actually fought like 8 rounds with one hand.
