    North Shore Events Centre, Auckland, New Zealand - In a ten round contest for the vacant WBA Pan African heavyweight title, 44-year-old veteran Kali Meehan (42-5, 32KOs) continued his streak of wins with a ten round unanimous decision over Shane Cameron (29-5, 22KOs). The scores were 99-91, 98-92 and 97-94.

    Cameron loses his third fight in a row and at 37-years-old he announced his retirement after the bout. Cameron has not won a fight since a July 2012 knockout of Monte Barrett.
