With all due respect, there is no such thing as "much faster than PBF."

Leonard is the better offensive fighter, but Leonard's willingness to take punches (lack of defense?) troubles me in this fight.

You've never seen PBF eat alot of punches (as SRL did vs Duran/Hearns).

There is little to choose between the two, in terms of ability.
They both are as fast as lightning. Leonard punched much harder, but was also more hittable than Floyd is...

The difference is that Ray was a true 147lber.....& two guys he beat there, Hearns & Benitez, are superior to any Floyd opponent- at any weight.
Floyd has beaten Sharmba Mitchell (never a true welter), at 147, that's it.

Gotta go with Ray.....in a brilliant matchup.

Hand speed dude, SRL had much faster hands.

SRL could actually KO an opponent with 1-2 punches, and his hand speed was better than Floyds, Floyd is renowned for his evasiveness, and ability to tire his opponent, yes he does have great hand speed, but not superior, if you ask me, SRL would take him to a points decision, somewhere along the lines of 116-111.

Yes. I know what you meant. And I am saying that Ray's hands may be as fast. Ray's hands may be a little faster. But NOBODY has "MUCH FASTER" hands than PBF.

This Mayweather kid is one of the fastest boxers in the history of the sport. Ask any opponent and they will tell you "he's faster than I thought".

He has great footwork, and is real slippery, what do you mean by 'fast'?

Man, it is WAAAYY too soon for this question. Leonard is one of the best Welterweights of all time and Mayweather, talented as he is, hasn't even fought a real welterweight yet, nor a top Junior Welterweight. I mean we're really talking about a lightweight here, until Mayweather proves he can beat Margarito or even Hatton. Judah's not going to prove much becaue Zab's one of the most overrated fighters of the last ten years....and proved it in his last fight. Mayweather hasn't proven himself at 140, much less 147. There's not enough info on him in those weight classes yet.

Too soon for the Leonard Question....ask about how he would do against Duran, or Chavez, or Leonard (Benny), or Armstrong, or Whittaker.
