Shortly after I started reading this crap, I thought it looked like a Top Rank press release. I was right.Comment

I have to hand it to Arum. Putting the fight in China was a smart move. He knew that no casino in America would pay a site fee for a a Pacquaio/Rios fightm so he put it in China on a card featuring Zou Shiming, knowing that it would draw casino interest and a big crowd. Arum also knew that a fight in America between Pacquaio and the journeyman Algieri would be so poorly attended that no casino would want it and he would not even make enough money at the gate to pay Algieri's purse. So he put the fight in China on a card featuring Zou Shiming again.
Arum is not ******. He is just selfish and greedy, which is why he will never allow a Mayweather/Pacquaio fight to happen.Comment

I am not shocked that there are very few comments on this story from Pacquaio fans. Arum admits that, halfway through the Pacquaio/Rios fight, half the crowd walked out. In other words, he is admitting that only half the fight fans who came to the fight in China gave enough of a damn about Pacquaio to stay for the entire fight. Most were there to see Zou Shiming only.
This kills the fairy tale view of people on this site that Pacquaio is an international star who draws crowds whereever he goes and is also the biggest attraction in the world of sports. Therefore, they won't comment on the story.
Also, for all the idiots who do believe this BS Arum is promoting; Pacquaio doesn't have to pay taxes in the U.S. on the money he makes in China. However, HE DOES HAVE TO PAY TAXES IN THE PHILLIPNES. At least, he is supposed to pay taxes in the Phillipines. We all know that Pacquaio has ducked paying taxes the same way he has ducked a Mayweather fight.Comment
