Yeah, Rios had a somewhat decent presence in the Mexican-American boxing fan base. While Algieri, being a homegrown American White kid, doesn't have that piece of the market.
The only reason I can thnk, is that this is Pac's second fight n China, and thngs wll be more established ths tme - and somehow that will hellp the fight do better than the very first foray into the PPV market there.
And he's no longer coming off a two-fight losing streak like he did going into the Rios fight. He's established again after soundly beatng Bradley (really the second tme he did, of course).
Zou shiming apparently gets a title shot if he wins his fight! So kinda big fight for China there. That will add the extra ****e for the Asian PPV too!
