it is only during sparring and might not mean anything. you can see that algieri could see maidana's punches coming in. it means algeiri has a quicker reaction time. this would be analogous when spiderman just got his powers and everything seems to slow down.
a shot fighter first losses this reaction time.

in my opinion algieri>maidana in a real boxing fight base on his quicker reaction.
but this disparity could be neutralized if maidana got way more power.

There is not enough data on Algieri to come to any conclusion. All we can say is that he beat 2 opponents that gave others fits. So that is a good start.

Algieri has some good things going for him and would give plenty of fighters issues ...... that is, his opponents will not look good against Algieri's style.

Algieri looked good in that training session that I saw the other day. Manny better take this fight seriously and better have a good game plan as I can see Algieri making it so that even if he loses, he will make it hard for Manny to hit him.

Everyone that Floyd has faced is tremendously bigger than him. Boxrec and Tail of the tape always list him as taller with longer arms than everyone, but when you see him in the ring he is way shorter with shorter arms than everyone. Ghost was waaay taller with way longer arms. Canelo was a giant. I think him and Ortiz are the same height, but he was still big af.
