I've watched every Pac fight on PPV starting with his win over ODLH but I will not pay to watch this fight period... I'll either try to steam it free or catch it on youtube...

Algieri is a 30 year old boxer with 20 fights in his entire life. No amatuer background.
Pac is basically fighting a part time boxer lol. That's not even a joke. He's literally fighting a part-time boxer.
The fact that Algieri even thinks he has a snowball's chance in hell against Pac basically proves how absolutely clueless he is.
This is what this fight is:

I don't think this is a better fight than Salka.

Ruslan could easily hold wins over both Herrera and Tim Bradley. He almost certainly would have if he had been fighting in his own country instead of his opponent's.
That's world level. And Algieri did well enough to get a similarly close decision against Provodnikov without it being labelled a robbery. He showed he's competitive at that standard which isn't nothing.Comment

I'm not going to pretend I had the remotest interest in seeing this match-up, but the Provodnikov fight legitimised Algieri.

The rios fights took everything out of Alvarado. He's never been the same.Comment

Your grades are shameful
Speed Pac A- Algieri B+ Pac is faster than Fraud and you give fraud an A
Intangibles Pac A and Algieri B+??? What tangibles does this untested fighter with no power and one loss on his record have that makes him a B+??

I respect your opinion but I disagree it is a dangerous fight for Pacquiao. Whatever his style is Algieri is not good enough to be a dangerous opponent for Pacquiao. Pacquiao won't have to find a way to win. He will already know how to beat Algieri with superior speed, footwork, power, experience and boxing skill. He will dominate Algieri from start to finish and end the fight by knocking Algieri in 6 rounds tops but probably much sooner. Pacquiao is still one of the best 3 or 4 fighters in the world and Algieri is a good average fighter who was lucky to get the win over Ruslan. MISMATCHComment

I though the report card was very good and accurate although I thought Pacquiao should have received an A+ for speed because nobody has more all around hand and foot speed than Pacquiao in the 140-147 weight classes. He predicted a KO win for Pacquiao and I am sure that will be correct.Comment
