  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Manager Sees No Issue With 2015 WBC Shot

Oleg Hermann, manager of WBA/IBO/WBC-interim middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs), is not worried about their ability to secure a shot at the full WBC title.

Golovkin became the mandatory challenger last month after knocking out Marco Antonio Rubio in the second round of a final eliminator.

The current WBC champion is Miguel Cotto, who is likely going to fight Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in his next fight.

Better lawyer up just in case. Can't let those slime balls over at the WBC allowing another "voulantary" after the next Cotto fight, regardless if it's Canelo or Mayweather or *****. GGG better get his shot!

Yeah...Martinez was also widely considered the best middleweight in the world and also featured on HBO several times while being ****ed around by the WBC. I don't think the comparison is favourable to them like they seem to think it is.

1 fight at a time. You still have Murray and perhaps Korobov to deal with first.

Rubio also had something saying he'd fight the winner of Martinez/Cotto.... that worked out well

Cotto did the same thing RJJ did at heavy with Ruiz.

Did Jones defend his HW title?

                  No

Cotto wants 80% against Golovkin and 75% against Canelo. Seeing as Golovkin and Canelo are healthy, Cotto might not be up for it because he knows he is going to get his ass whooped. If he feels like he is going to get his ass whooped, he wants to get paid comfortably to take that ass whoopin.
