Mohammedi is the IBF mandatory that Kovalev inherited from Hopkins. He's not a bad fighter, but he'd be at least a 20-1 underdog against Kovalev. I'm sure HBO would prefer a more well know North American based opponent, but who is realistically available in March?

I saw Mohammedi fight on NBC (?) recently. He struck me as Shumenov 2.0 . Another stiff that woukd get destroyed by Kovalev.
