One thing i don't understand is if Korobov wins why would Top Rank just feed him to Golovkin and sacrifice their only relevant MW who just won a belt?
An immediate unification bout would be great but I believe the WBO mandated that the Lee/Korobov winner has to fight the Saunders/Eubank winner. A unification would supersede that order but why wouldn't Bob prefer to milk a few defenses first?
Just seems like an odd promotional move since Top Rank has nothing at 160 aside from Korobov and Murata who is at least a year away from world level.
