According to Interbox chief Jean Bedard, there's talks between the camps regarding a fight early in the new year.

The fight could take place at 170 lbs.

It's been a while for Kessler, but I'd still feel confident he rips Bute's head off.

Kessler does a Froch on him inside 6 rounds.

        Decent crossroads fight.

Bute has the style to give Kessler trouble but his confidence has been shot to **** since Froch loosened his bootay

I remember Mikkel was ringside for a Bute fight prior to the Candaian losing to Froch, not sure why the fight never came to fruition, maybe his handlers thought Froch was a softer touch on the back of the Ward loss or Hearn simply offered Jean Beddard better terms than the Sauerland's had ! I don't know.

I always begrudged Froch getting to Bute before Kessler did, taking his undefeated record first.

This is a top fight despite the recent misfortunes of both men, hoping it comes off,Mikkel by KO if it does.

Interbox offered Kessler 500K which ended negotiations right there. A ridiculous lowball.

At this point in time, they are ready to cash Bute out and frankly he is not without chances. Kessler is on his last legs and has been out of action for nearly 2 years.

Kessler would take it comfortably I think.

                    In Denmark or Canada?
