Was Roach saying this to Bob Arum? That's who he should be addressing....he's the one who put the Rocky slant on this fight in a desperate attempt to promote this travesty of a fight.

The only thing Algeri has in common with Rocky is his meat grinder victim appearance after fighting Ruslan, who I thought won.

Yup, the PPV model these days is utter trash and I went from buying all of them for years to none ever again. I refuse to support any PPV fighters and will just watch all of the fights later or streamed.

They had it right a few short years ago with Oscar....Oscar vs Shane or Vargas=PPV that I'm willing to buy....Oscar vs Campas=not PPV and almost a gift to regular fans as a showcase stay busy type fight.

Manny and Floyd and the men behind them have ruined PPV....I stopped buying when it stopped being excited and felt like a chore.

A lot of fans like pac.but fans are tired of top ranks bs. We want to see pac vs real competition. No more Rios esq fights. He should at least fight a welter wt. The only Jr ww he should fight is swift Garcia. Not to down AlgieRI but this is not a fight worthy of a fighter considered by some to be an atg. Canelo is now on HBO and with the cold war over between top rank and gbp, it should be easy to make. But we know it will never happen. It seems arum is making safe fights until they can secure the Floyd fight.

Actually Stallone said it himself he said he compared Algieri to rocky with his win over provodkinov after getting up from two knockdowns to win the fight he said that Algieri was like the real life rocky he's going to need all the help he can get on Saturday cause pacquiao is no provodkinov i see manny destroying the younger champion.

Yawwwwwn! Can someone wake me when the Pacquiao hype train finally leaves the station? This is 2014... not 2004. Pac & Roach are yesterdays news and mainland mainstream fans are over it already. We all know who the only people who support Pac are and they are not mainstream fans, only watch 1-2 fights per year on PPV. There is a reason Pac no longer fights in the US and this is because there is 0 demand.
