It always makes me laugh how people go on like Margarito is some monster puncher, some damn KO'ing machine. The guy has about the same KO percentage as Floyd Mayweather...... you know, the same Mayweather they call "feather fisted". Only difference is Mayweather fought better comp and Margarito used cement in his gloves

It's really a toss up. After seeing Maidana rocked that many times by Ortiz I know his chin isn't granite. After seeing Tony get blasted by Shane I know he has a breaking point. I'd have to give to Maidana though, his killer instinct and finishing ability with his overhand right is bar none. Also under the tutelage of Garcia I think Maidana would have a good game plan. Tony on the other hand does have the power to put Maidana on the canvas but the fact that he's always there to wale on makes me think Maidana would take him out sooner than Shane. Tony does have size though and maybe that alone can help him withstand Maidana's power shots.

Hey you're supposed to be the Chino fan. Chino has developed some subtle aspects to his game. I don't think it'd be a complete wash unless Margs hurts him to the body early.

im a die hard chino fan but I aint some biased ****, Margarito will hurt chino bad to the body just how every other fighters want to do to chino cause everyone and their momma knows he is weak to the body and gets hurt easily but none of their chins is strong enough to withstand the fire that chino throws at them to stay on that body the entire time where as Margarito wontbe phased by chino punches and will stay on that body and chino will get hurt and stopped.

I believe Marcos Maidana has more power and defense than Shane Mosley. I challenge you to show me one picture of Maidana severely lumped up after a fight. Unbeknownst to most fans, Maidana has a terrific defense -- he moves his head and feet excellently, a sign of good boxing IQ.

Maidana also handles adversity well and can box under pressure... The way he was boxing on the back foot against Jesus Soto Karass was simply beautiful. Tony is not going to just eat Chino for lunch; he's gonna get lit up with bombs as a result of coming forward.

It wouldn't surprise me if he cracks Margarito's chin. Maidana's power is real.

Even Shane Mosley said so.
