How about the fact that they are only able to make garbage fights with TR and he could've made double that per fight??

Even becoming a free agent would've been much better than what is going on now w/TR.

                November 13, 2014:

Not including himself, six of the nine fighters on ESPN's top 10 ranking for the welterweight division are unavailable to Manny Pacquiao because of the politics surrounding the sport of boxing today.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., Keith Thurman, Marcos Maidana, Shawn Porter, Devon Alexander and Robert Guerrero are all signed with Al Haymon who Pacquiao's people—Top Rank and HBO—refuse to work with at the current time.

Two other names on the top 10 list are Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez, a pair that Pacquiao has fought a combined six times. Besides Kell Brook, there isn't a single compelling matchup available to Pacquiao in the welterweight division.

Some of you might be thinking that a move back down to junior welterweight might make matchmaking a little easier, but many of the top guys in that division like Danny Garcia, Adrien Broner, Lucas Matthysse and Lamont Peterson are also signed with Haymon, which makes all of those matchups dead on arrival as well.

Pacquiao is already a lock for the Hall of Fame in my view and I'm sure in the view of most others, so he doesn't have much if anything left to prove. But it is a shame that years of his career are being wasted on fighting the likes of Brandon Rios and Chris Algieri.

                  by Robert “Big Moe” Elmore:

I penned an article about Top Rank CEO Bob Arum claiming that Showtime and HBO were on board to do the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight in 2015 as told to the UK-based newspaper “The Independent” on September 2nd of this year. At that time, neither Ross Greenberg (HBO sports president) nor Steve Espinoza (Showtime sports president) came forward to support Arums claims. It was later confirmed that Pac was moving back to 140 to finish his career. At least we now know that Arum’s claims that Showtime was on board were correct. According to Espinoza, three months ago, they offered Pac a minimum of 40 million dollars with a 35% percent of the pay per view upside.

Arum told fighthype.com on November 11th of this year that Floyd was reluctant to fight Manny. Floyd has not uttered a word, but it’s very clear that an offer was made. What is interesting about this offering from Espinoza to Arum is that it was offered three months ago and Arum has not answered.

My guess Arum is trying to see what the outcome of Pac’s fight with Chris Algieri will be. But make no mistakes an offer was made. So my question is; judging by the pure concrete evidence that an offer was made, why did Arum pass on the offer? My opinion is this and I will stand by it: I sincerely believe that Floyd and Pac want to fight each other. They really do. I do not think Arum wants it. Strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza has been in both (Floyd and Pac) camps and has said both fighters want the bout to happen.

I’m not going to indulge myself with the past remarks by both fighters because it will be a waste of time. I’m dealing with right here; right now. And now, there is a 40 million dollar minimum offer plus 35% of the pay per view revenue that was made to Top Rank which was turned down by Arum.

                  http://www.************.com/2014/11/...loydpac-fight/

                  **** Bob Arum!!!
Don't easily believes to what Espinoza, Arum, ODLH, Richard S. said... they are bunch of businessmen, who always makes buzz for Benjamin... Instead, believe to boxer himself. Lets hope Floyd will answer to this so we can see them fight

ok, two things here. this is the fellah that used to fill any and every arena/stadium in vegas, get massive ppv revenue and be a fan favourite but then, the big knockouts ended and his aura of invincibilty ended in classic boxing style by the great juan manuel marquez.
fight fans rather than boxing fans is who his popularity was with in the main and these fight fans saw floyd hand jmm a loss that made him look ordinary.
fight fans saw jmm knock pacman the fack out and that made him "boring" in their eyes and no longer a fight fan favourite. this then made a fight with floyd unattractive.
want proof? hes fighting a chancer in china for fack sake! nuff said about that.
                      second thing,
boxing fans see all this differently but, will floyd fight him? difficult to say....
there is probably a better chance for pacman to get the fight but and i do mean BUT, the joke coach would have to stop being cheeky.
also, i do believe that both men have slowed but floyd is still unbeaten AND fighting guys at the top of the tree...i mean, "fight fans" have heard of em!
this would the best chance for pacman to win and vice versa. but floyd along with fight fans dont see it as a big deal anymore.
