Few things. Gamboa did rock Crawford but Gamboa has legit speed and power that can keep him in the mix at 135. Crawford is a big Lightweight and maybe making weight drops his punch resistance. Jury is out on his chin til he moves up to 140 and fights somebody with pop. Would be a helluva scrap between him and Garcia but that GARSH might be the decidinh factor.

Danny is moving up, he can't make 140 anymore. He can demand more money if he is a reigning champion at 140 in a title bid fight at 147, so he hangs on to a title he won't defend again. It's about money, but he'll try to hang on to his title until he can get Kell in NY. I only mention Brooks because of his immobility, getting stabbed in the leg and a serious lay off. He looks to be the target, his title at least. Danny can't make 140, but Kell is just making it around the block. No disrespect to Kell, but his injury is that serious... is that a vulture, or an Angel floating around?

By your logic, Cotto should have been knocked out in all his fights above 140, because he was getting rocked, knocked down, and wobbled badly throughout his 140 career.

Both of them have outgrown their respected weight class.

            Crawford wins at 140

            Danny wins at 147

Both of them are going to be beast's when they move up.

but gamboa was too small for lightweight. he wasn't a legit 135 pounder

Would love to see Crawford win this. Never can tell when a guy moves up in weight though...

Khan is dumb, he cant handle his own speed, lol. Its like his reflexes are too quick for his brain. Crawford is different.

Crawford/Garcia will never happen. Bob Arum needs someone from his promotional group to fight Pacquaio next if JMM refuses to fight Pac. Arum damn sure won't make Pacquaio/Jesse Vargas, so Pac's next opponent will be either be JMM or Crawford at 140 in April or June 2015.

I hope this fight gets made. Danny isn't lil Gamboa. Boring ass Crawford would have gotten finished if Gamboa was a legit lightweight. Danny put this guy out. Make it happen Bobbo.
