Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford Open To Facing Danny Garcia Next

WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford (24-0, 17KOs) is ready and willing to move up and fight anyone at junior welterweight - including WBC/WBA champion Danny Garcia.

Crawford will return next Saturday night against mandatory challenger Raymundo Beltran (29-6-1, 17KOs) at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

The defense against Beltran is going to be the final fight for Crawford at 135-pounds. He plans to move up to junior welterweight in 2015.

Love this kid - Total throwback fighter. Swift may be a little too-much-too-soon, but honestly I thought the same thing about Gamboa.
I just wonder if Danny can still make 140 by the time this fight could possibly be made.

Crawford vs. Postol should be a good fight, and a good test for Crawford @ 140.

Crawford is a damn good fighter. Can't wait to see him against a decent Jr Welter division, Garcia included. He's got the skill set to give anybody a very tough out at 135-140.

just like Geroge Foreman had Frazier hurt and out and also Ken Norton, but Ali knocked him out - Danny can't hurt what he can't hit!

They both got hands. THAT would be a good scrap.

I would prefer danny v Crawford to Danny v anyone but Broner because it would be a damn good fight. but when TR fighters mention Haymon guys I tend to question it because Bob and Al still seem at odds. I also thought Danny was going up to 147.
