If he hadn't have knock Pac down earlier in the fight, I would call it luck. However if you watch the fight again, you'll see him trying to land that punch earlier. Marquez knows Manny better than anyone, so it's not luck, it's preparation.

Very true. Pacquiao fans pretend that Manny was winning by far all the rounds when suddenly there was one only punch that JMM connected (something like 200 to 1 landed punches). And the same with the other 3 previous fights. For them Manny won 36 straight rounds. For his fans Manny is a god.

Just retire, he's last 3 fights was terrible imo and that "lucky" knock out punch is he's wild card. JMM had a rough time with Tim Bradley, Kell will toy with him and eventually knock Jmm out. Time to retire and enjoy the win over Pac. Stay away from Memo the "cheat"!

Absolutely agree to this. That was no lucky punch...he practiced countering pac with that punch in his preparations for the fight.

JMM needs to SHT OR GET OFF THE POT! Enough of these indecisive announcements. His next announcement does not need to be to announce that he is indecisive. He needs to make a decision and get back to us on that.

Imo the Bradley fight was close. Marquez landed the power shots. It's just hard to score a fight for Marquez. I think it'll be a good technical fight. Brook had a easy night in porter but if that was Marquez in there poter would have been knocked out. Marquez has single punch power now n with his technical ability n combination counter punching expertise. Hes never been stopped I don't see how brook could be the one to do it. I like Marquez by ko or close decision.

Yea I think Marq was much more focused and better prepared for that fight than Pac. He definitely wanted it more, chugging urine and god knows what else but I do think there was a bit of luck to it, just the timing and pac walking/leaning into it - lined up perfectly, and the fact that Marq was on the brink of being stopped himself just before the KO. Either way, it was an incredible fight, and JMM showed some solid tactics.
