Comments Thread For: Klitschko's Options Revealed: Back in March/April

IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53KOs), 38-years-old, looked as destructive as ever in demolishing previously undefeated IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev (20-1, 11KOs).

Bernd Boente, manager of Klitschko, discussed the possible options for Wladimir's next fight.

At the moment, the return is tentatively being targeted for a date in March or April.

One of the possible options include the Deontay Wilder vs. Bermane Stiverne winner, who battle for Stiverne's WBC title. Also in the running is undefeated Bryant Jennings, the winner of next Saturday's rematch between Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury - but one fighter who is not under consideration is Shannon Briggs.

It would be happy if it was either the Fury-Chisora or Stiverne-Wilder winner but I have a feeling it's gonna be a voluntary defense against Briggs.

Scared hoes. I can see why he's running away from Briggs.

Briggs is the last resort. He was always meant to be, that's the point of this whole #letsgochamp stuff.

I figure it's highly unlikely he gets the Stiverne/Wilder winner in March if they're fighting in January or February or whatever. So hopefully it's the Fury/Chisora winner.

Unless Wilder/Stiverne falls through, I don't expect them to be next... since they don't even know when they're fighting yet

Stiverne-Wilder winner or the Fury-Chisora winner. Not interested in anything else.

Jennings or the winner of Fury-Chisora would be good.

The winner of Stiverne-Wilder would be best of all, but it may not happen for a long time, considering Don King is involved in the negotiations.

Glazkov will be in the next IBF eliminator, I think Browne and Cunningham will be too.
