Hall of Famer Joe Calzaghe is picking his close friend, Nathan Cleverly (28-1, 14KOs) to come out on top over Tony Bellew (22-2-1, 14KOs) this coming Saturday night at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

They fought back in 2011, when Cleverly won a close twelve round majority decision to retain his WBO light heavyweight title. Now they face each other 25-pounds north, in a WBO cruiserweight championship eliminator. The winner will move a step closer to facing WBO champion Marco Huck and the loser's career is going to take a serious hit.

Ok, Joe makes good sense but the' Can not lose' attitude that Bellew is carrying in to this contest is almost frightening and not seen since the Benn days but remember it didn't help Nigel in that first great fight with Eubank (I was there to witness!)
The only thing I disagree slightly with the great man is that one conclusion is Cleverly on points , I may be getting too excited but this is one fight I feel that will not need the judges....As always may the best man win !

I thought Calzaghe had ******* problems after his career finished. In any case you can't disrespect the man, he was the greatest super middleweight of all time. 46-0 (32 KO's) you have to respect that!
