Yeah that is a very hard list to top to be sure.

It will end up fairly comparable though.

That surprised me too, but who's to say when Wlad retires, Pulev actually landed on Wlad before he was smashed by the hook, and in the first round also, did more damage than most of the last 18 contenders, including Haye.

Pulev is nowhere near as technically gifted as Povetkin. He won't feature again in a HW title bout, IMO. Povetkin, meanwhile, will be back with a ****!
Really need to see more of Pulev against top 10 competition to gauge where he's at. Not ready to write him off yet.

Impressed by Povetkin the past 12 months, almost certainly the second best HW right now. I'd like to see what happens against Wlad if he's not being hugged or thrown every two minutes.

The sad thing is, ostensibly, Haye had the best chance of dethroning Wlad but was unwilling to take the chance.

The Brits on NSB still aren't over it.

Possibly just inside top 10 after Haye, TT (1st), Byrd, Peter, Povetkin, Chagaev, Mercer, Ibragimov, Brewster..

Wlad's resume does look better and better.

As for Pulev. Guy has some very nice skills (very nice jab) and he is one tough man. He has a very good chin IMO. He rate higher than Chisora actually.

I think a Haye rematch is the best possible fight for Wlad.

You're right. I merely referred to the hate Povetkin received on NSB. The guy was an Olympic Gold Medalist, and anyone who had followed his career would have seen he was technically gifted and packed a 'decent' chin. He was treated terribly by the Brits on here in the build up to the Wlad fight. Perhaps they knew that, if the time ever came, he'd beat their beloved Haye?

Wladimir won every round (i think, from memory)

Haye was all talk and lacked heart; only the Brits were buying into his BS. Also he did nothing all night. It was a cakewalk for Wlad.
my criteria was prior accomplishments, threat to the champ in the eyes of most, skill set, probably add in natural attributes.

name me 10 names that wlad has that are better than haye?

Ah, that's not entirely true. Pulev won't become champion, he's too flat footed. A lot of people would beat him. Maybe not in the same fashion as Wlad, but he's a very beatable fighter.

Nah man, what makes you say that? Haye hasn't fought in 2½ years + the first fight ******.

Tyson Fury is the name, fighting is the game. Irish blood, English heart. Bring it on.
