Fantastic left hook in an entertaining HW fight. Pulev, despite terrible footwork, brought the fight to Wlad and paid dearly. If only Davey boy had taken a risk!

You're right pal. Haye would have watched that fight and wished that he'd took chances.
But outwardly I hope he's realizing that you don't need to constantly compare modern 250 lb heavies to historical 200 pound heavies in order to appreciate both for what they are: Basically completely different divisions.
Watching 2 men that size clash and Pulev get flattened by a punch that would kill/decapitate most of us is what it's all about nowadays.

Interesting comment coming from a guy who's only been here for a month or so......
I don't often enter in H2H conversations because they are fantasy fights and mean nothing. But one can easily see the difference in skills from previous contenders to someone like Pulev. No headmovement and no footmovement. Is that the way to approach one of the hardest punchers of all time? No to me it's not.
So I'll compare era's in terms of skill. but I've never once claimed Wlad was a bum or anything like that. I've always thought he was a good fighter, just not unbeatable.
