Sorry, got to disagree with you on this one. Shannon needs to be as marketable as possible. He needs to portray the image that he is still youthful and fully revived and not some old no hoper who is just trying to get a paycheck.
Shannon has done all of the right things such as becoming physically fit and going on a mini win streak and knocking out a bunch of club fighters but image to the general public is EXTREMELY important!
Shannon has been irrelevant for a long time and his performance against Vitali hardly warrants a fight against Wlad, regardless if Shannon was injured. If he were an old relevant fighter like B-Hop he could be as gray as he wants but this little step in image I think would only help him.
