You say Khan is a bigger draw in the UK than Brook.. Tell us by how much???? How big of a draw is Brook in the UK at Wembley???? STFU, you have no idea what it looks like over there. Brook could sell out Wembley fighting Marquez, fighting Porter, fighting Guerrero, fighting Thurman... Wembley turns out for ALL their own, fool! Brook has called out Khan for years and Khan wanted nothing to do with him. He talks a lot about Brook now, but he's still reluctant to climb in the ring with Brook for all the same reasons; Brook hits hard as hell. Harder than Danny Garcia. Harder than Prescott. Khan had a lot to say about landing a payday with Manny & Floyd, which got him nowhere because he's fought nobody at '47, and the last we heard, he took beatings from Garcia and Peterson at '40 back in the day. Khan wouldn't fight Porter. Brook did. Devon Alexander is hardly a dangerous test for Khan, which is why he chose him over Thurman who was obviously available now that they will be on the same card. Khan has no say at this point but to man up and fight top contenders, and if he has the ballz to climb in with Brook, then Brook decides the terms, since he just fought and won this '47 strap! Wembley will sell out no problem for Brook no less no more than for Khan, who isn't anxious to climb in with Brook! Not much wrong with what Khan said, he's the bigger draw and will understandably get the bigger split. Personally, i rather see the fight once Khan is removed from Al Haymon.
In the meantime, why doesn't Brook fight Marquez or Bradley? Obviously both won't bring more money to the table for Brook, but in terms of name value they're seen as two of the best in the division along with Manny and Floyd. Khan will always be there as an opponent due to them both being from Britain. Hearn would be doing Brook a disservice if he doesn't make a fight with either of them. If Brook wins that then he could get a fight with Manny and the terms for a fight with Khan could possibly change.
I've spoken on here about my desire for Khan to face both of them but it's impossible due to his ties with Al Haymon. The other day, Arum, pretty much promised Khan a fight with Pacquaio. Brook's in a fortuitous position where he's not affected by the "cold-war" split between the network and promoters.
Saying that, Brook's a great fight for Khan, regardless of what the idiotic fan-boys on other side of the table say. Seriously, boxing has to be the only sport where the fanboys have their blinkers on 24/7.
Never once have i heared anyone speak in a demeaning or derogatory way about folks who live in the north of the country. Most people aren't spastics and don't give a **** about such petty things.Comment
