Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: I Believe I Can Shine Against Devon Alexander

Amir Khan admits his December 13 fight against Devon Alexander is make or break as he chases a clash with Floyd Mayweather next year.

The two welterweights will battle it out for the WBC silver title in Las Vegas, but for 27-year-old Khan in particular there is the prospect of a big-money blockbuster against pound-for-pound king Mayweather in the offing should he win.

If the fight is made and speculation suggests that it will be, then there has been talk of it being in the UK and that would certainly rival the Carl Froch v George Groves encounter at Wembley last summer.

Khan will be fighting relevant names coming off losses from here on out..once Brook loses he'll fight him too..as for the moment Khan doesnt even deserve a crack at brooks title let alone ANY title holder at 147..hes popular ill give him that and "hes fast doe". Hes also got himself a decent reseme but hes been knocked off his perch

Who looks good vs. Alexander? Bradley beat him in an ugly fight. Porter struggled at times with him.

Unless Khan body-shots him early like Maidana and stops him, it will be an ugly fight.

Khan always fights away from home and gets absolutely no credit at all, he fought PEDerson in DC despite the risk of getting robbed and he did.
