Comments Thread For: Briggs: I'm The Champ, I'll Knock Klitschko's Teeth Out!

Wladimir Klitschko has brushed off new efforts by Shannon Briggs to get a shot at the Ukrainian's titles.

Briggs, a 42-year-old American, on Wednesday gate-crashed Klitschko's training session in Hamburg, where the heavyweight champion was preparing for his bout against Kubrat Pulev on Saturday night.

Security guards ejected Briggs from the building as he shouted: "The people don't want Klitschko anymore. Champ, come out at last.

Wlad should hire Briggs as a sparring partner. That way he can legally beat the snot out of him.

Why didn't I think of that before. Great idea.

i gotta give it to Briggs...He hurt his arm during the VK fight...put him out for a while. Hes back and so far this year alone hes been staying busy and in shape...better shape than hes been in in his whole career. Lets face it even out of shape Briggs could hurt you. Hes got decent speed and power. His stamina was a issue back then. Looks like hes trimmed down and toned up. Hes fought 7 times so far in 2014. Working of ring rust like nobody ive seen before. I hope he steps up to a big challenge soon or get to fight Wald.

Man this guy is begging for a payday. Stop spending your money chasing him around and instead spend it chasing Haye, Fury, Chisora, Wilder, Povetkin, Stervi, and i can go on and on. Earn your way up again

Being a Champion close to decade ago doesnt give you mandatory fights with the current Champ

No matter how trim Briggs looks, hes done as a fighter. There is some reason hes only fighting brazilian Cap-Drivers and fat Burger-Junkies.
