Mayweather initiated every round of negotiations and Pacquiao balked every time. Pac's camp only mention Mayweather when they have a new mismatch to promote

        Basically it's like this..

Arum, Roach and Pac have a task force devoted to getting Floyd into the ring.

Floyd and TMT have a taskforce dedicated on getting OUT of fighting Pac AND saving face in doing so.

These are the 2 major forces at work in boxing right now.

I agree with Freddie at this point. This isn't hyperbole.

Floyd liked the idea of facing Maidana. To him this seemed like a good cherry pick that he could defend, since Maidana just defeated his Mini-Me in Broner, and had one of the Welterweight Titles. On paper, you can't criticize a unification fight.

But he picked him because he was everything Floyd likes to exploit, I.E. flat footed fighters, slow fighters, fighters who run out of gas in the late rounds. To his surprise and others, Maidana gave him more trouble then he thought. Manny is none of those things.

I used to think that Manny would fall apart sooner than Floyd, but the opposite is happening. Pacquiao is still explosive enough and has picked up a few new moves, while Floyd is deteriorating and not learning any new tricks.

It's funny, used to be there were only 2 things certain in life... Now it's 3... death, taxes, and Floydiots will always defend their God Floydie for not fighting Pac. Because they know their hero gets his azz throttled big time.
            HA!

Of course, 24/7/365 was better but neither one was doing it back then and neither one is doing it now. So unless they were then you can't start flashing that 14 day cut-off as the gold standard which it is not.

The point is that that poster said that Manny was not in agreement with doing extra PEDs testing. He is wrong. Since neither one was doing it the right way anyways, then they had to negotiate some kind of deal.

It didn't help that Floyd's team were already accusing that Manny was on PEDs.

              .
You dumbass. It's called 'negotiating'. What would you say if Floyd had offered no cut-off period?

Oh man, a Triple G/ Mayweather fight would be insanely awesome. However, if the May/Pac fight hasn't happened (for whatever reason) I just don't see Mayweather's team selecting GGG as a future opponent. GGG is wayyyyy too dangerous. Would be cool to eat some crow on that though.

I like it when May and Pac mention each other before a fight. It seems like their way of saying, "Hey I haven't forgotten about you." At least I hope so.

Does this means Mayweather is desperate to fight Pac?

Before you post, get with the program. That poster said that Manny didn't want to do any testing because of needles.
First of all, Manny never said that.
Secondly, Manny agreed to do it but was not willing to do it too close to fight night because of his experience of giving blood prior to the Morales I fights and feeling that it affected him.

So the point was that that poster was wrong. Manny agreed to extra testing.

Except for Floyd's team accusing Manny that he was doing PEDs
                      It was a negotiation.
                      Floyd said whatever .....
                      Manny said whatever ....
They couldn't agree on cutoff dates.
